EGRISS Conference in Warsaw
On 28–30 October 2025, Warsaw will host a meeting of the Expert Group on Refugee, IDP and Statelessness Statistics (EGRISS), which operates under the auspices of the United Nations Statistical Commission.
EGRISS develops and advances international statistical standards in its area of work, supports countries in implementing the recommendations, and promotes high-quality, comparable data that are crucial for migration, humanitarian and social policies.
Statistics Poland actively participates in the work of EGRISS, cooperating with international organisations such as UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency) and WHO (the World Health Organization). Joint efforts by these institutions have resulted in the creation of the Refugee Health Dashboard – an analytical tool that helps monitor and better understand the health situation of people fleeing conflict and persecution.
