Advancing globalisation and growing interdependence between economies and societies mean that statistical data must be delivered quickly and remain internationally comparable. High granularity is essential — capturing the situation of different social groups, regions (or other territorial units) and gender-specific differences. Statistical offices are responding by adopting innovative solutions based on Big Data and advanced analytics.
Statistics Poland’s relations and cooperation with international partners naturally follow from the mission and strategic priorities of the Polish official statistics system. Participation in international initiatives — for example ESSnet Big Data projects — makes it possible to co-develop modern data and statistical solutions, supporting the sustainable development of the organisation and demonstrating its openness to cooperation and service to the public.
